While we are in this recession, many have had to do with pay cuts or even losing jobs, many are struggling to keep up with daily life economy-wise, and federal spending has been increasing non-stop during this time. And while people are still losing jobs and are in a major need for them ( and money ), federal workers are getting paid relatively huge amounts and are getting raises?! The number of people in the federal department earning $150,000 has skyrocketed over the past few years, and just doubled since Obama took office. I see my parents complaining everyday about how they are losing money and watch countless others lose jobs and just try to survive. I'd rather see that money be put into saving our economy and country rather than go into the pockets of these federal workers. The only reason why this disturbs me is that while our whole country is financially suffering, one select group of people is getting raises in their pay.

The Worm that could....
http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2010/11/26/secret-agent-crippled-irans-nuclear-ambitions/
This article states that a new, powerful computer worm had taken down Iran 's nuclear programs by damaging it, but not completely destroying it. The worm's progress and what it did were listed and explained throughout the article. However, the source of the worm remains unknown as it destroyed its connection from the source before it could be analyzed. It was said to be so advanced and was made to make sure Iran's nuclear programs were failing, but never know why they were. This worm was called "Stuxnet" and it did the job secret agents would have done, taken down a Nuclear program and have time to get out of there ( dead or alive of course ) . This has been called the first "weaponized" computer virus and it has caused a major rethinking of computer security around the globe.

North Korean Attack...
http://www.foxnews.com/world/2010/11/28/skorea-leader-feels-responsible-nkorean-attack/
I was awake at about 12:00 AM on the night it happened. This worried my family and me as we were going to sleep right about when this was reported and half-seriously thought that more was coming. We had no idea if we were about to wake up into another war or not, so far no more aggression has occurred ( or has been reported) . This article goes on to say how the South Korean leader blames himself for not protecting his citizens from this attack and how he will retaliate if more aggression occurs. I am not sure how he could have done anything to stop this attack from happening...

Fire!!!! 11/15/10
http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/asiapcf/11/15/china.building.fire/index.html?hpt=T2

This report shows how the only interesting news is news about tragedy and how there is always someone or some thing to blame for an accident. This fire in China killed around 53 people and injured at least 70 other people because of an apparent violation of safety rules by unqualified welders. Whether it was the welders' fault or not may be minuscule compared to why the fire actually killed 50+ people. Why wasn't there a fire department or some other fire-fighting force there sooner? And perhaps its not the welders' fault for the fire, but rather the building materials if they are so flammable. Maybe China needs a revamp of their building codes and regulations instead of their safety regulations.

"War on Taliban cannot be won, says army chief."

This article shows how not everyone shares the optimism that the American military has. Many of Britain's operating commanders in Afghanistan said that "We’re not going to win this war. It’s about reducing it to a manageable level of insurgency that’s not a strategic threat and can be managed by the Afghan army." This could possibly be true or even a possible deal with the Taliban to create a state of peace. What is most likely to happen is that they will fight until they cannot fight anymore, and I am sure the American Military would not back down from the War in Afghanistan.

This video is from a Democratic candidate, Jim Marshall, for the House. He openly opposes Nancy Pelosi, who is in the same party and which is hilariously surprising. I guess when your party is being despised by the public so much, a way to gain popularity is to bash on your superiors in the party. Not only that, but he also uses the stereotype of California hippies, I do not see hippies roaming around all of California and who is to say his opponent was one. It's funny how some people still think that every person in California are hippies and try to bash on someone based on that assumption.
